This Spring, I made a decision to update the landscape of my backyard. Purely by accident I stumbled onto JenScapes Landscaping who was doing work for my neighbor. I must say it was the easiest decision I ever made. Not only were Jen Allgood and her crew a joy to work with, but they provided some great ideas to transform my backyard from "Ho-Hum" to a fabulous retreat for entertaining.
They used my current plants, integrated new plants and redesigned the layout of my backyard which really opened up my backyard. Her crew was fast, efficient, friendly and accommodating of any last minute thoughts and changes that I have a habit of doing.
One last note, I had another company provide an estimate. Not only did JenScapes come in under their bid, but I got more plants that the original bid didn't include.

We recently had a MAJOR spring cleaning done by her company and we are completely satisfied with the results. We had a jungle of a yard that we inherited from the previous owners. She really ensured that her crew went above and beyond...even planted left over plants in our empty urns! And she really is happy to work within any budget. "If you need landscaping, Jen Allgood does beautiful work and she is very personable. She worked with our budget, our different tastes and even made a few post trips back to make sure everything was alright. Her workers are very kind and hard working too. My girls just had to play in the backyard when they were working and we had a fun time together.
We found her by viewing her work on a yard down the street. When our neighbor viewed her work on our yard, he ditched Tea's Landscaping and hired her. You see that she is contagious :)"

"Just wanted everyone to know what a wonderful job Jen and her crew does. My house was scheduled to be on the AIA 2009 home tour and as usual we were running late, and the landscaping always has to wait on everyone else. Jen stayed calm, got all the troops together and delivered a wonderfully manicured landscaping job, under a short timeline. She was exceptional when it came to being creative and matching my ideas, the architect's ideas, and available products. Jen was also exceptionally knowledgeable of all the plants and options and different looks, as well as super creative and professional. I got photos of all the plants and different options before they were bought or installed. And since I don't know the names of anything, these photos made all the difference in my decision making process. Not only that, but she also made several "photoshopped" pictures of what my landscape elevations would look like next to my house, before any landscaping began! This was incredible and a true testimony to her full mastery of all the tools available in her profession. I actually got to see the final landscaping with my house in the background, while the whole thing was still just an idea in Jen's brain!
If you want to finish a new house's landscaping, or if you just want to re-do a section of your yard, I can't recommend any company higher than Jenscapes and Jen. Thanks Jen!"
